election night sky news hd first: due to unveil groundbreaking hd coverage of the 2010 election night and results, sky news were looking for an iconic building - and one of sufficient visual presence and sheer size - to use as the projection stage to premiere a completely new level of hd television projection graphics. as well as creating a spectacular supersize lightshow seen from across the thames, the power station appeared throughout sky's election results coverage, hosting live graphics.
